Little Inventors

Meet our Magnificent Makers

Little Inventors wants children to open their eyes to the world of invention and creativity. But beyond the invention drawings, there is a unique opportunity for children and makers, designers and artists to come together and collaborate to bring children’s imagination to life.

By taking children’s ideas seriously and presenting them in a professional manner through collaboration with skilled makers, we will help showcase children’s original ideas, perspectives and voices.

We also want to challenge the skills and experience of adult makers, and encourage them to push beyond their own limits by engaging with the highly imaginative and unhindered minds of young children.

The creativity of young minds is a driving inspiration for my work. I enjoy re-contextualizing children's artwork through in-depth collaboration with my craft work. Mixed media elements allow me to fully describe the emotion of a piece and reiterate unconventional characteristics of children's designs.

Hi! I am a visual artist and animator based in Toronto, Canada. However, I am originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. When I'm not drawing, you'll find me walking around museums, exploring national parks or spending time with my family. My main work focuses on visual narratives through character design, portraits, caricatures or abstract images. Always experimenting with new techniques. I am equally comfortable with analog and digital technologies, and I use both according to the needs of the project.

I've loved making things since I was a kid, which led to me studying electrical engineering and having all kinds of "maker" related hobbies, from 3D printing and electronics to glass work. Professionally, I spread my love of science & engineering through Let's Talk Science's  outreach program. I love sharing my passion for understanding how things work and creating new inventions with kids across Canada, and giving other volunteers the tools they need to share their passion too!

With a big LOVE to the letters and great passion for the arts, specially the attraction to the fascinating world of calligraphy and lettering, I like to create compositions based on the experimentation of different sources and techniques as well as sizes and surfaces.
